Linking Social Media via Graphic or Text Link
We also promote presences on the social networks listed below on our website. The integration is done via a linked graphic of the respective network. By using this linked graphic, it is prevented that when accessing a website that has a social media advertisement, an automatic connection to the respective server of the social network is established to display a graphic of the respective network itself. Only by clicking on the corresponding graphic is the user redirected to the service of the respective social network.
After the user is redirected, the respective network collects information about the user. It cannot be excluded that processing of the data collected in this way takes place in the USA.
These are initially data such as IP address, date, time, and visited page. If the user is logged into their user account of the respective network during this time, the network operator may possibly assign the collected information of the specific visit of the user to the personal account of the user. If the user interacts via a "Share" button of the respective network, this information can be stored and possibly published in the personal user account of the user. If the user wants to prevent the collected information from being assigned directly to their user account, they must log out before clicking on the graphic. There is also the possibility to configure the respective user account accordingly.
The following social networks are integrated into our site via linking:

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our online presence. This is a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".
The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our online presence. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online presence.
Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time, or frequency of visits to our online presence, is transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. Through this function, Google shortens the IP address already within the EU or the EEA.
The data collected in this way is used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our online presence as well as the usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide further services related to the use of our online presence and the use of the internet.
Google states that it does not associate your IP address with other data. In addition, Google provides further data protection information for you under
https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners
such as options to prevent data usage.
In addition, Google offers under
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
a so-called deactivation add-on along with further information. This add-on can be installed with common internet browsers and provides you with further control over the data that Google collects when you access our online presence. The add-on tells Google's JavaScript (ga.js) that information about the visit to our online presence should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services. Whether and which other web analysis services we use will, of course, also be explained in this privacy policy.
Google AdWords with Conversion Tracking
We use the advertising component Google AdWords and the so-called conversion tracking on our online presence. This is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".
We use conversion tracking for targeted advertising of our offerings. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online presence.
If you click on an advertisement placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use stores a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve to identify you personally.
If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page of our online presence, both we and Google can evaluate that you clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and that you were subsequently redirected to our online presence.
Through the information obtained in this way, Google creates a statistic about the visit to our online presence. In addition, we receive information about the number of users who clicked on our advertisement(s) as well as about the pages of our online presence that were subsequently accessed. However, neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords are enabled to identify you in this way.
Through the appropriate settings of your internet browser, you can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies. At the same time, you can delete already stored cookies at any time. The steps and measures required for this depend on the specific internet browser you are using. If you have questions, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support.
Furthermore, Google also offers under
https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/
http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/
further information on this topic, especially regarding the options for preventing data usage.
Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to integrate advertisements on our online presence. This is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".
Through Google AdSense, cookies and so-called web beacons are stored on your device via your internet browser. This enables us to analyze the use of our online presence by you. The information collected in this way, along with your IP address and the ad formats displayed to you, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. Furthermore, Google may pass this information on to contractual partners. However, Google states that your IP address will not be merged with other data from you.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online presence.
If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the installation of cookies through the corresponding settings in your internet browser. Details can be found above under the section "Cookies".
In addition, Google offers under
https://policies.google.com/privacy
https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated
further information, especially regarding the options for preventing data usage.
Google Remarketing or 'Similar Audiences' Component from Google
We use the remarketing or "similar audiences" function on our online presence. This is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google".
We use this function to display interest-based, personalized advertising on third-party websites that also participate in Google's advertising network.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online presence.
In order for this advertising service to be enabled, Google stores a cookie with a numerical sequence on your device via your internet browser during your visit to our online presence. This cookie captures your visit and usage of our online presence in an anonymized form. However, no personal data is passed on. If you subsequently visit the online presence of a third party that also uses Google's advertising network, advertisements may appear that relate to our online presence or our offerings there.
To permanently deactivate this function, Google offers a browser plugin for the most common internet browsers via
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin
You can also deactivate the use of cookies from certain providers, for example, via
http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices
or
http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/
by opting out.
Through the so-called cross-device marketing, Google may also track your usage behavior across multiple devices, so that you may be shown interest-based, personalized advertising even when you switch devices. However, this requires that you have consented to the linking of your browsing history with your existing Google account.
Google provides further information on Google Remarketing at
https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/
affilinet tracking cookies
We also advertise offers and services from third parties on our online presence. If you enter into a contract with the third-party provider due to our advertising for these third-party offers, we receive a commission for this.
To accurately capture the successful mediation, we use the so-called affilinet tracking cookie. This cookie does not store any of your personal data. It only captures our identification number as the mediating provider and the order number of the advertising medium you clicked on (e.g., a banner or a text link). We need this information for the purpose of payment processing or the payment of our commissions.
If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the storage of cookies through a setting in your internet browser. More information on this can be found above under "Cookies".
